Make Money in Your Sleep

So lately I have been trying to not form preconceived notions about something or in other words, "a judgement" until I have the absolute story. One example pertained to my experience at work picking up a customer with shabby hair, wrinkly face, carrying a large greasy bag of refuse. AS I apologized for being late an wiped my mind clean of the judgement I was starting to form, I soon learned that this tall surfer with a large upper belly (usually a Callous from laying down on the hard fiberglass board) is and was a millionaire.

"What is your secret?" The first question that bombarded out of my mouth without even knowing what he does for a living.

"Well, its not 1 thing." He kindly told me. I soon learned that the true success as an internet businessman comes from a shady vision sparked from a Craitgslist ad, directing traffic to your free homemade videos on Youtube, email lists, Google Search Terms, Job Boards (to find App makers in Romania), and excellent cemented Website infrastructure so you can make money in your sleep.

I currently believe that “preconceived notions “ happen naturally because that's is how our brains work. In every moment of every day one finds is self bombarded by consent stimuli. Because of this I believe our brains have learned a “cheat” or “trick” to handle this as efficient as currently possible. It comes down to sorting the incoming stimuli as soon as it arrives into a “box” . These boxes are “preconceived notions“ or “assumptions”. I see the positive benefits to this being things like “ assuming a chair is a chair as 1st glance and having confidence one fully understands the basic form and function of the chair”. The down sides to this is when one stops looking at the chair... sometimes it is just a basic chair but some times its a super cool chair with something amazingly awesome or unique about it. Honestly, most chairs or people or blades of grass, if you look hard enough, have a unique quality that makes them “un-boxable”. Personally, I don’t have the metal fortitude to not make assumptions though my day. I must assume every stop light is the same unless I have a reason or the time to inquire about its uniqueness. I Will assume brake pads are brake pads and not jello until I have reason to believe otherwise. As far as people go I feel comfortable putting them into boxes at 1st glance and then enjoy discovering how they are not like anything else ever before put into that box.
